This is a collection of templates for the Novation ReMOTE series of
controllers to manipulate the parameters of an Oberheim Matrix 1000.

There are two sets of templates:

- "Zero" templates for the Novation ReMOTE SL Zero Mk II, though they'd
probably work fine with other ReMOTE models. The "Top" template also
maps the crossfader to control the oscillator mix, but you could map
that to the keyboard model's joystick (say): it's NRPN LSB 20, displayed
as -64...64, min value 64, max value 127.

- "Compact" templates for the Novation ReMOTE SL Compact series.

DOCUMENTATION
Each template set comes with a PDF file which describes all of the parameters
in all of its templates. There's also an OmniGraffle file I used to make
the PDF file -- that's probably less interesting to you.

PARAMETER NAMING SCHEME
You'll see certain patterns in the naming scheme for parameters:

F: Indicates that the next one or more elements in this
row are all parameters under the category "F". For
example, D1: Foo Bar Baz	tells us that Foo,
Bar, and Baz are all parameters for DCO 1.

< or >	You'll see these symbols to denote a group of parameters
from which you select a single item. For example,
<Off	Hard	Soft	Medium> means that
Off, Hard, Soft, and Medium are actually settings for the
same parameter (osc sync say), and when you choose one,
the Matrix 1000 will use that setting and not the others.
This is how I map many multi-value parameter options into
		buttons.

..	This indicates that the group of parameters continues on the
next line or is continuing from the previous line. Sometimes
		you'll see

PREPARING YOUR MATRIX 1000
In order to control the Matrix 1000, you need to upgrade it to
firmware version 1.20 (by Robert Grieb). It costs about $30 and is
well worth it, as it speeds up many parameters, fixes NRPN, and displays
information on-screen.

MATRIX 6/6R
These templates won't work with the 6/6R since they don't support NRPN.
